Indian students who want to pursue MBBS in Philippines, should satisfy the following requirements as per guidelines of Medical Council of India (MCI):

The student shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Indian students from Open or General category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in the 12th standard board examination.

Indian students from SC/ST and OBC category: Minimum 40% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in the 12th standard board examination.

Medical qualification offered in Philippines is MD (Doctor of Medicine) which comprises of 4 years. This qualification is considered equivalent to MBBS in India.

Prior to getting admitted to MD course in Philippines, a 12th pass student has to mandatorily enrol for BS (Bachelor’ in Science) program of 1.5 years.

After successful completion of BS program, the student has to pass National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) with minimum 40% to get promoted to MD course.
